Submission Guidelines
Submissions can be submitted to websinthe at gmail dot com. Please include your contact details and a brief explanation of who you are and what you’re submitting.
Only QUT students and staff may submit unless special circumstances apply or an invitation was made.
Written Articles
Submit only in the body of an email, in RTF format or in ODT format. Anything submitted in a Microsoft format will result in a friendly reply questioning your ability to use a computer.
- 12 point type
- Ariel or Times New Roman
- Double line spacing where applicable
Original Artwork
Must be submitted in an Adobe format other than PDF.
Photography
Again, Adobe format other than PDF. JPG is acceptable where the shot has gone straight from your camera to us, but TIFF or some other form of high quality/compressionless/lossless would be preferred.
Video
Video must be preloaded onto a streaming site such as YouTube or Vimeo and the embedding code supplied via email. The QUTE website is looking for regular Vloggers who can stay roughly on topic so go for it.
When in doubt, email me, I don’t bite and I’m always looking for submissions.
