Classic, though I've also found that the more I tweet, the less I say in real life. Which is good, more of what I say now is useful and thoughtful. All the rubbish comments I would be otherwise making are going straight onto twitter.

I had to laugh at Jon Stewart's (Comedy Central) review on Twitter.. where he says
“For the uninitiated, here’s how Twitter works — I have no f***ing idea.” He goes on, “I have no idea how it works — or why it is.” The video is a classic..

I described it as a 'place to share what you're doing with people you care about' to a friend earlier today. He told me that it still sounds stupid.

YES – the best thing about twitter, is the people I follow, seem to be people I get on with socially. Met a few of the people I follow in person for the first time at a recent event, and it was like catching up with old friends.

Thanks man, I know how you feel. I resisted it for 18 months before realising it was exactly what was missing from my online presence. Nobody told me that twitter users were more interesting than the usual idiots.
